Privacy policy

PlayEnvoy is an early access project. This policy explains the information we collect when you visit the site or join the early access list.

Information you share

To join, we ask for your email address and one or more roles: developer, creator, or playtester. After signup, you can optionally share your interests, studio or channel name, game or channel URL, primary platform, and preferred genres. Please only submit information you are comfortable sharing with us.

How we use it

We use your details to maintain the early access list, send PlayEnvoy updates and invitations, understand what people need, and prevent duplicate or abusive submissions. Optional preferences help us prioritize future features. Joining does not create a user account or commit you to using or buying a future product.

We do not sell your signup information.

Website measurement

We collect first-party events such as page visits, signup button clicks, form starts, selected roles, completed signups, and saved interests. When available, campaign labels from the URL, the referring website's origin, and the landing page are attached to these events. For these first-party events, we do not store the full referring URL or arbitrary URL query parameters.

A random identifier in your browser's session storage connects events within a visit. It contains no email address, is not a cross-site identifier, and expires when the browser session ends. We do not use advertising cookies. When your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, PlayEnvoy's optional first-party browser event tracking is disabled. We still process information needed to record a signup you request.

Cloudflare separately provides Web Analytics (Real User Monitoring) to measure page views and website performance. It processes technical data such as page URLs and referrers, browser and device information, page load timings, and Core Web Vitals. According to Cloudflare, this measurement does not use cookies or browser storage and does not track people across websites. Our first-party privacy signal setting does not control this separate Cloudflare measurement. Learn more about Cloudflare's performance data collection.

Our service providers

Cloudflare hosts this website, processes requests, stores the waitlist database, and provides Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. Turnstile may process browser and network information for security. Cloudflare also receives technical information needed to serve the site and protect its infrastructure. Shared infrastructure

PlayEnvoy and GamerCollab are planned to use shared signup infrastructure. If you independently join both lists, the same contact record may hold your email, with separate signup records for each site and role. Joining PlayEnvoy does not automatically enroll you in GamerCollab updates.

Retention and choices

Our daily cleanup removes PlayEnvoy first-party website event records older than 90 days and temporary abuse prevention records older than two days. The temporary token used to save your post-signup preferences expires after 24 hours and is then removed by daily cleanup. Your contact details, signup history, and optional profile are retained while useful for early access and product planning, unless you ask us to remove them. We review retained waitlist records at least every two years. Cloudflare's separate performance measurement follows its own data practices.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or stop receiving updates, by emailing [email protected]. Use the email address you signed up with so we can verify the request. Any update emails will include a way to unsubscribe.

If you select a light or dark appearance, your browser stores that display preference until you choose System or clear browser storage.

Security and location

We use HTTPS and restricted access to protect the signup database. No service can guarantee absolute security. Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Children

This early access list is intended for adults. Please do not submit information about children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can remove it.
